Kolařík, Tomáš ; PANOCHA, Jiří (advisor) ; ŠTRAUS, Ivan (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I write about the history of the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice namely from 1838 to 1945. It is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter discusses the spa music events in Teplice and also the circumstances of the spa orchestra itself . The second chapter gives a comprehensive overview of the various personalities of each bandleader and presents them in connection with their work as a head of the band. In the third chapter we learn about the stay of some famous composers in Teplice, who often came here not only to the spa to recover and gain new energy, but also for get inspiration for their next creating. The fourth chapter, like the second, brings a list of some famous artists who performed in Teplice, either as a soloist or conductor. The fifth chapter titled Theatre in Teplice additionally completes the view of the cultural background of Teplice since 1874, where many concerts of world music masters have been held, which is being mentioned in the previous chapter. Enriching the work I attach a picture, showing for example historical papers, old photographs and posters of concerts.
